In a good news to London Wasps Rugby Union, Tom Varndell and Dan Ward-Smith have agreed to new contract extensions. Winger Varndell, 24, and second row Ward-Smith, 32, both joined the club at the beginning of last season and went on to make 29 appearances each.

Director of Rugby Tony Hanks said: “We are really pleased to secure the services of these two quality players. “Both Tom and Dan have bought into the Wasps way and established themselves as key members of the squad.”
